So you know those t-shirts/mugs/calendars/bathmats/bumperstickers that say “everything I needed to know about life I learned from kindergarten (or my cat/dog/podiatrist” and they have some list of pithy, life affirming BS anecdotes that anyone with a basic understanding of how to be a decent human already knows? I’ve always wanted to make one that read.

“Everything I needed to know about life I learned from reading Dune”

It would have things like:

“It is not good to just defeat an enemy, one must utterly destroy them”
“Never unsheath your knife unless you intend to bathe it in blood”
“Walk without rhythm and you won’t attract the worm”
“Do not cry for what you have lost, tears are a waste of water”
